Lessons from Winners

We also had a small exhibitor area and a lot of engagement took place.  Some of our suppliers took the plunge and pitched their wares before lunch.  We must clarify how long a 2 minute elevator pitch is for 2017!  This is designed as an opportunity for businesses and suppliers to meet in a less formal manner.

Great thanks to the Hotel – Philip O’Brien and his team – who went out of their way to assist us and managed our late running times admirably – we will adjust next year’s schedule to be much tighter on time.

We have received feedback from both delegates and suppliers – the majority very positive and we will take on board the constructive criticism.  One of our delegates noted that on return to his hotel he changed his steam room water supply from cold to hot and calculates he will save the hotel c. €4,000 per annum – one of the many tips shared during the day.

We plan to be back in Dublin next year and will alternate between the capital and a regional location annually.

A special thank you to Fáilte Ireland who provide valuable support and without which we could not run the conference.
