Sustainable Tourism: Flying can help save the planet
GHP Comment: A thought provoking article and one the Irish Tourism Sector needs to be developing given the critical importance of flying to the sector. However, to validate such an argument the sector needs to show how effectively it addresses environmental sustainability – grossly lacking at present.
We just want more slices of the cake but do not appear willing to take on any responsibility – it is someone else’s job, we are too small to make a difference, etc.
